The work is a celebration of ideas including an appreciation for spontaneity, a preference for intuition and emotion over reason, sensitivity to nature and reflections on perception. The film quotes other works such as Walter De Maria’s floor sculpture 'Triangle, Circle, Square' and the original painting that inspired such work - 'Circle, Triangle and Square' created by Japanese Zen monk Sengai Gibon.
These three fundamental forms – the square, triangle and circle – can be found throughout the film, intuitively captured by the camera and emerging from the material. The work is filmed in Pai, a small town in northern Thailand's Mae Hong Son Province.
